Exciting Local League Expansion:
Uxbridge & Oshawa Partnering for
a Stronger Game!
Uxbridge Minor Lacrosse is thrilled to announce that we are looking to partner with our Zone 6 counterpart, Oshawa Minor Lacrosse, to create an interlocked Local League experience!
By working together with Oshawa’s well-established City League, we aim to provide a more dynamic, development-focused program for players of all skill levels.
What is City League?
City League serves as Oshawa’s entry-level House League, designed to:
- Teach new players the fundamental skills of lacrosse
- Provide new challenges to experienced players
- Ensure equal access to quality coaching and instruction
The Oshawa way of lacrosse emphasizes consistent coaching, structured development, and a fun yet competitive environment—values that align perfectly with Uxbridge Minor Lacrosse’s vision.

What This Means for Uxbridge Players
By interlocking with Oshawa’s City League, Uxbridge players will benefit from:
- Increased competition – More teams, more variety, more fun!
- Expanded development opportunities – Access to structured Gameplay instead of justskill development, ensuring standardized, high-quality coaching through Next level.
- A stronger lacrosse community – By working together, we create more opportunities for players to grow, compete, and develop within our Zone 6 region. Lacrosse for Everyone!
Whether you're new to the sport or a seasoned player, this partnership will enhance the overall experience for all skill levels. Lacrosse is a game rooted in Canadian history, and through this interlock initiative, we are committed to growing the game while providing the best possible development pathway for our players.
Are you ready to experience the next level of Local League lacrosse? Stay tuned for more
